Swedish Sven Götz Quartet Reflections

The SVEN GÖTZ QUARTET is a German-Swedish
Project. The two Swedish musician Mattias Grönroos
(Gothenburg) and Tommy Holmgren (Nässjö) are among the
leaders of the new Scandinavian jazz scene.
They worked among others with John Taylor and Ulf Wakenius.
Together with the Stuttgart guitarist Sven Götz, whose

wakes up ", they formed a chamber music jazz trio.
In the summer of 2005, the SVEN GÖTZ TRIO was the first time in Sweden
on tour and was in for a subsequent series of concerts
Fall 05 in Germany by the jazz saxophonist and price-
carrier of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Ekkehard Rössle expanded.
His expressive and lyrical way of playing the same complement
musical interpretation skills of the trio of outstanding
Manner.
In 2007 there was a summer tour in Sweden and the
Autumn a series of concerts in Germany. The present CD now
"Swedish Reflections" is an intense part of this collaboration,
through many concerts and develop their own common
musical ideas, accumulated earnings. The two concerts
recordings of the CD were in the "German Book", the German
Real Book published edition of the Nile.
